Meet the Staff

Bret Anderson

Bret Anderson

Program Director, MA, Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor

Bret founded the Ace Program back in 1993. Prior to starting this business, he worked for many years in various counseling settings including psychiatric services for adults and adolescents, residential treatment for adults and adolescents, and substance-abuse facilities. He has always been passionate about helping others and believes treating people with kindness and respect is important in the healing process.

Jennifer Anderson

Jennifer Anderson


Jennifer has over 15 years’ experience providing therapy. She specializes in working with adults, couples, families and court ordered clients. Her therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. Jennifer has a warm, nurturing and accepting approach to her clients.

Sharie Stines, MBA, PsyD

Sharie Stines, MBA, PsyD


Sharie specializes in personality disorders, complex trauma, and helping people overcome the damage caused by addictions, abuse, and dysfunctional relationships. Her therapeutic approach is based on attachment theory and she places a strong emphasis on reality-based interventions.

Hugo Luna

Hugo Luna

Hugo is our senior DUI counselor who has been with us for almost 20 years. He uses a life experience style of counseling which has proven to be very effective with a wide range of clients.
